A Brand New Song and Music Video

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

I recently made a new chillout ambient electronica song and Combiner did a Vocal remix.  I had a 3D Labyrinth that I made which inspired me to make the original mix.  I decided to capture a walk through the labyrinth for a music video.

New CD Finished with a different name.

Saturday, February 24th, 2007

It turns out we liked the name of the CD as "Like No Other" better than "BREAKtheMOLD".  We finished the title track on the same day we finished the CD too so its fitting.  We have most of the tracks up on our A&R Select site (they currently only allow 8 songs) and a few of them are for purchase right now.  We’re making CDs and will have a shopping cart to buy them soon.  We’re considering getting signed on to DeepLife/Noisy Christians and then we could have our music for sale up on BeatPort and iTunes.

More news soon…..keep checking for news on new tracks, and look for some previews right here on our site.

Also listen to Sixty-Six Sessions every Saturday at 6PM Pacific for part of the OneLifeRadio Saturday Night Party and you will occasionally get to hear our newest tracks featured.

New Sixty-Six CD on its way & more.

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007

We’re pleased to announce the soon to be released CD from Sixty-Six.  This full-length album will be called BREAKtheMOLD and will have 12 tracks on it.  This is an exciting leap forward for the group and we’re looking forward to much happening starting from this release.  We’ll hopefully be releasing another disc or even multi-disc set within a matter of months.  This is only to get the ball rolling and we chose the best out of what we currently have.

Other news includes the fact that we have changed the Audio/Music page to be Archived Audio/Music since it is almost all considered to be older music and we’re starting a whole new face and outlook from here.  New music will be put into the discography section and we’ll be putting mostly samples of tracks from our released CDs as well as a few free tracks from time to time.

We’ll be updating the look of the site a bit more and tweaking it as time allows.  Some new sections should be appearing and older stuff kind of going away.  Overall, this is a good time for us and we hope you appreciate it as much as we do.

Be blessed!

Face-lifted!

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

The site gets a new look!  Well - not entirely new since it is based off of the original look that it was using.  It hopefully works better and is easier to understand and more pleasurable to be at now.

Any thoughts on the new design and stuff?

The Break is OVER.

Tuesday, December 12th, 2006

The musical break I went on for a while is now officially over.  I made the decision tonight after having thought about how fun and easy it was to do an actual DJ show the other night.  Plus it just feels like it is time to begin working on new music.  It feels like it can’t help but become music now…

I feel some remixes coming on…and some new official Sixty-Six tracks showing up real soon.  Some actual Sixty-Six group songs which each of us will have participation in.  Its been about a year or so since I asked to remix the Tightrope Walker song and I think its time to get it done.  I’ll see if we can’t get the rest of the group involved somehow.

YE-AH!  Let’s go!

Taking a break.

Tuesday, September 26th, 2006

I am personally taking a break from working on music while I build a successful business over the next couple of months.  Once that is done then my business ought to be supporting me and allowing me to do whatever I want.

I look forward to that time and then coming back into the scene with energy and passion.  I believe dr.mixx will be continuing to work on his music in the meantime though…along with transflow unless he’s studying for exams.

Another new song. A new style.

Thursday, August 17th, 2006

I think I’m making a whole new style here, but people will let me know right? I wanted to give a try at hip hop. I didn’t want to just make normal hip-hop though. I am so into techno stuff that I thought I’d try making it sort of technoish. This is what I came up with on the first try. I call the style "J Tech-Hop" because I thought adding a J on there (for my first name of course) would possibly add a little flavor to the name of the style, plus hopefully make it seem a little bit more trendier which might make the style catch on …who knows? I could just call it Tech-Hop, but that sounds really generic. Other people can make that…I have my own savor see. Savor this: DOWNLOAD "He Has Won" - (J-Tech Hop Style) My favorite parts of this song are the bassline, and the "Three!!! - Four!! - Five!", and the rhythmic twisted up vocal noises in different parts. I wish I did more of this sort of thing in the song. Its done now though…perhaps later I’ll revisit it, but that usually never happens with me. Although, I think I’m turning over many new leaves.
