I’ve just finished a brand new rock style worship song. Its neat, but its not in any way related to any sort of techno yet. I’m planning on revamping the vocals next, but for now its adequate for releasing to the public to hear. Then I think I’ll make a couple remixes of it. Maybe I’ll do that and release all of the tracks on a SINGLE that I’ll sell to help further my music.

I’m going to take this opportunity to explain where Sixty-Six is at and what to expect in the near future.
A while back around February it was decided that we need to slow down with the live shows and re-focus our energy for a little while. The direction Sixty-Six is going is with live shows eventually, however for the time-being it is not practical. We did a few shows and most of them turned out alright. We feel that we really need to revamp our sound and style and live techniques.
Our temporary focus is to develop our sound and style and producing skills and then work together on releasing a brand new high-quality CD or two or three. I feel we are near the point where we can work on the CD(s). I hope to have a CD released by Christmas or the new year.
Until then, I am getting settled in to my new place in Renton, WA in the Seattle area. This is at least a few hours drive from where Shane lives right now. This also makes it difficult to work together, but we have the internet and phones. If time permits, we’ll work on some projects online together and hopefully have that CD done before you know it.
So we are on a temporary hiatus with the group’s live shows until we feel ready to start again. Possibly by the time we’re ready to start again (and hopefully not too long..) Shane may be living closer to me and we can meet on the often occasion to work together on music. Until then, we both have little side-projects we are working on every so often.
The side projects I have, when completed will be posted here on the Sixty-Six site. Shane’s side projects will be posted both here and on his own personal site under his producer name of dr.mixx.
So now you know and you’re in the loop. Look soon for my latest songs. I’ve created two songs for a film to be premiered this fall/winter, and a remix for dj404. I also am working on a remix for bleedbeat which should really rock because its trance and I LOVE good trance.
